It collapses to the size of a tent, and it's awesome for giving the kid a dark place to sleep. They also have great seats like the MeToo that is lightweight but awesome. With you guys being so outdoorsy and travel like, these are great items, our friends take their little guy camping and hiking all the time. So our friends swear by this line of products.

We've already got the DVR and camera covered. My Canon XTi is getting old but should still work great. I was thinking about a video camera at one time, and I guess now would be that time to get one. You are right that my iPhone will probably catch most video, though having better quality might be nice. I hadn't thought about hiking yet, but that's a good point.
