Patience is a virtue…

that I do not possess.  I really thought Trey (aka Half) was coming this past week.  I did everything I was supposed to – wear my pj’s inside out and sing the song my youngest brother Nick taught me (it’s kind of like a snow dance).  I’ve been taking stairs two at a time (which I don’t recommend when you are nine months pregnant.  I had to ice my knees last night after walking the stairs two at a time at the DU hockey game.)  I’m drinking cinnamon tea and eating spicy foods.

Anyone have any other suggestions?  Please keep it clean this is a family friendly blog and I don’t want to have to remove anyone’s post.

Black cohosh tea (only at health food stores)! My mom who had 7 babies swears by it. It tastes like dirt (which is why I couldn’t drink it) but if you can get past the taste drink a cup then go for q loooooonnnnnnngggg very hilly walk! Good luck and I know it is hard to wait but take this time to go on dates with your hubby and SLEEP!

Kim, I went shopping and walked around the mall…like ALL day! It threw me into to labor so I suggest A LOT of just walking around. Plus you might be able to pick up some last minute impulse baby buys! ;0)

Ha! I was going to tell you about the walking around the mall with Amy .. she was soooooooooooooo slow ;o) … seriously, she was amazing how she waddled around that mall with that TWIN belly of hers … we were shopping for a specific gift so make sure you have something in mind that you have to run around to several stores for .. and, oh yeah, you have to be in a hurry too .. we were on a schedule that day ;o) GOOD LUCK !
